According to many inquiries, many people of our current days are going through hard times of poorness, violence, famine and sadness. This is not a face of the world we do not know, it has become an image of the reality that we would like to change, but how we can try to manage that terrible side of this world without making it something that only can be named outside the doors of schools? How can we try to make of those bad factors something useful for our future classes? I would like to think about the way we can try to solve many of our students’ problems in order to use some elements of those worlds of difficulties and then give to everybody the chance of imagining better days. How we, as teachers, can try to mediate those rules of teaching and those problems mentioned without forgetting the best way of approaching to knowledge. Is it possible to teachers to take advantage of those situations and try to focus people into a way of new opportunities of beholding the world and so, their and our lives? Is it really mad to conceive that probability of making from the bad contexts the best weapon to overcome the illiterate and intolerant future of our society? I wait for your comments…
THE MOST POWERFUL TOOL TO DEFEND KIDS FROM THE REAL LIFE SITUATIONS IS THE TRUTH. I MEAN, IN PRESCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WE LOVE TO READ FAIRY TALES BUT WAIT PEOPLE FROM FAIRY TALES THEY LIFE PACEFULLY AND HAPPILLY FOR EVER SO, HOW CAN WE ASK THEM TO GET REAL WHEN ALL THEY HEAR IN THEIR CHILDHOOD WAS A PARALELL UNIVERSE?
ResponderEliminarAs teachers, we have a big responsability in the classroom in what we do, think and say, maybe this is complicated, but we have to keep in mind that some of our students see in us a model to follow and if we talk about the aspects of life in an arbitrary way, we will be a bad element for our society. the idea is not to hide the truth but we must be prepared to tell it and prepare other people to listen and face it.

ResponderEliminarNowadays, we find a lot of problems in schools but we can not stopped when the problems arrive. We as a teacher have the obligation for changing the worl and we can start in the classroom building the knowledge and the social culture. We can take advantage of the contex in orden to create new strategies for learning and teaching.
